painting is of Murren, Switzerland. john and joyce have stayed at a guest
house in Murren which looks out into this valley with 12 waterfalls and
an entire valley of flowers. At the end of the valley, john, joyce and their
good friends Bob and Kathy took a number of trams to the top of the Schilthorn
Mountain range. That is where the movie "On Her Majesty's Service"
was filmed. They ate at a rotating restaurant there, and Kathy forgot her
sunglasses. john and Bob went back to retrieve the sunglasses, but sunglasses
were hard to find in a rotating restaurant. john and Bob walked the entire
360 degrees to find them. |
