| This pen and ink drawing was taken from a photograph taken at Acadia National Park some years ago. The lighthouse is actually on the other side of the small building, which is probably a maintenance building in support of the lighthouse. john was quite disappointed with the photograph, so he simply drew the lighthouse on the "correct" side of the building. Later, he also painted the Bass Harbor Light (see it in the Art Gallary section). |
